Senior Information Technology Officer (ERP Financials)
Responsibilities
The position is responsible for managing, but not limited to, the Oracle Financials Application team and overseeing the operation, maintenance, and support of: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Planning and Budgeting, Resident Mission Financial and Management Accounting System modules, and integration with other ADB applications to deliver a prescribed level of service and support.
Reporting Arrangements
The position reports to the Application Management Unit Head.
Selection Criteria
  • Master's Degree or equivalent; or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related fields
  • 10 years' relevant experience, 6 years of which must be with supervisory function in development and implementation of large-scale database applications; team leadership on relatively larger application systems development/implementation projects; and development, implementation, and support of Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
  • Certified Public Accountant or equivalent designation is strongly preferred
  • Excellent business in at least three of the following Oracle ERP Modules: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing, Assets, and Inventory
  • Proven expertise in working with cross application/module interaction and interfaces; enthusiastic about new technology
  • Demonstrated ability to manage all application activities related to system upgrades and new product implementations, from business requirements definition through solution implementation
  • Excellent ability in system analysis and design, and in preparation of functional and detailed specifications
  • Strong planning and organizing skills to handle multitasking with deadlines
